\u00ab \u00c9valuation des m\u00e9thodes quantitatives dans la litt\u00e9rature sur l’enseignement des sciences de la sant\u00e9 \u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’objectif de l’atelier est de familiariser les participants avec les crit\u00e8res essentiels qui d\u00e9finissent une \u00ab bonne \u00bb recherche quantitative dans le contexte de l’enseignement des sciences de la sant\u00e9. Ces crit\u00e8res comprennent l’alignement entre les questions de recherche et les plans d’analyse des donn\u00e9es, la clart\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es quantitatives rapport\u00e9es et la pertinence des techniques statistiques dans le contexte de la recherche. L’atelier comprendra des mini-pl\u00e9ni\u00e8res, des discussions en petits groupes et des exercices pratiques. Aucune connaissance statistique pr\u00e9alable ou exp\u00e9rience des donn\u00e9es quantitatives n’est requise pour participer \u00e0 l’atelier (et en tirer profit).<\/p>\n

Le professeur Gomez-Garibello est professeur adjoint \u00e0 l’Institut d’\u00e9ducation en sciences de la sant\u00e9 et membre associ\u00e9 du d\u00e9partement de chirurgie de l’Universit\u00e9 McGill. Il a obtenu son doctorat en psychologie de l’\u00e9ducation. Ses recherches portent sur l’\u00e9laboration de m\u00e9thodes d’\u00e9valuation en milieu de travail au niveau postdoctoral, la cr\u00e9ation de tests visant \u00e0 \u00e9valuer les connaissances et le jugement cliniques, et la mesure de l’int\u00e9gration des comp\u00e9tences et du jugement cliniques dans le contexte de la chirurgie. L’int\u00e9r\u00eat du professeur Gomez-Garibello s’\u00e9tend \u00e9galement \u00e0 l’application de m\u00e9thodes quantitatives (statistiques et psychom\u00e9trie) dans la pratique et la recherche \u00e9ducatives. Actuellement, le professeur Gomez-Garibello est responsable de l’\u00e9valuation de la formation m\u00e9dicale postdoctorale \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 McGill, o\u00f9 il apporte un soutien crucial aux programmes de r\u00e9sidence en faisant progresser les m\u00e9thodes d’\u00e9valuation. Son travail s’appuie sur les principes et les cadres conceptuels les plus respect\u00e9s dans le domaine de l’\u00e9ducation. Il est \u00e9galement copr\u00e9sident du groupe d’\u00e9ducation chirurgicale au sein du d\u00e9partement de chirurgie de l’Universit\u00e9 McGill.<\/p>\n
