“Appraising Quantitative Methods in Health Sciences Education Literature”
The objective of the workshop is to familiarize participants with the most essential criteria that define “good” quantitative research in the context of health sciences education. These criteria include the alignment between research questions and data analysis plans, the clarity of the quantitative data reported, and the appropriateness of statistical techniques in the context of research. The workshop will integrate mini-plenaries, small group discussions, and practical exercises. No previous statistical knowledge or experience with quantitative data is required to participate (and benefit from) the workshop.
