The FMER team is proud to celebrate Dr. Anish K. Arora, a past student and current collaborator with FMER, on receiving the prestigious 2025 Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship, one of Canada’s highest honours for postdoctoral research. Dr. Arora’s postdoctoral project aims to support health equity through improving person-centred communication skills among healthcare professionals.

 This award is a testament to Dr. Arora’s commitment to research, community, and system change. He comes from a working-class immigrant background and brings lived experience, compassion, and vision to every project he touches, including his work with FMER.

We are thrilled to continue collaborating with him and look forward to the real-world impact his postdoctoral research will have on patient care and medical education across Canada.
