Kathleen Rice, PhD, Selected as Delegate for Science Meets Parliament 2025

The Family Medicine Education Research Group (FMER) is proud to celebrate Kathleen Rice, PhD’s selection as a delegate to Science Meets Parliament 2025, an initiative of the Canadian Science Policy Centre in partnership with Canada’s Chief Science Advisor, Dr. Mona Nemer.
 
Science Meets Parliament is a prestigious program that brings leading researchers into dialogue with Members of Parliament and Senators to strengthen evidence-informed decision-making. Each year, delegates are chosen from across Canada to represent the breadth and excellence of Canadian research.
 
Kathleen Rice, PhD, a faculty member in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University and an active member of FMER, was among this year’s distinguished group of scholars selected to participate. Her expertise in health research and commitment to advancing family medicine education exemplify FMER’s mission to connect rigorous research with meaningful impact in clinical practice and policy.
