The FMER is very proud to publicly applaud three of its affiliated MSc students in Family Medicine, Medical Education Concentration who has graduated this year: Amrita Sandhu, who participated in the Convocation Ceremony on November 20, 2023, and Raymond Tolentino and Sima Zahedi, who graduated on May 28, 2024. In this spring 2024 Convocation Ceremony, Anish Arora, former MSc student and current FMER Alumni, graduated from the PhD in Family Medicine and Primary Care.
Congratulations to all of them for their remarkable achievement!
Completing the McGill MSc in Family Medicine, Medical Education Concentration, as well as the PhD in Family Medicine, is no small feat. Our FMER students’ hard work, dedication, and perseverance have brought them to such a significant milestone. Each of them has shown outstanding commitment to their studies and impressive work ethics. Their success, a testament to their intelligence, passion, and resilience, is also the FMER success.
As they step into the next chapter of their professional journey, we hope that the skills and knowledge they have acquired during their time with us will serve as a strong foundation for their future endeavors. They are now equipped to make meaningful contributions to family medicine education scholarship, and we are confident that they will continue to excel and inspire others along the way.

Dr. Charo Rodriguez, Director of the FMER Group, co-instructed two intensive workshops at the 2026 Summer Institute in Advanced Research Methodologies. The international programme brought together 36 participants for advanced training and scholarly exchange.
