The Evaluation Committee of the International Pierre Pluye Awards met on June 5, 2026, to review submissions received for the 2026 awards competition.

Following a thorough evaluation process, the Committee unanimously determined that no awards would be conferred in 2026. The Committee concluded that the submissions received did not meet the standards required for recognition through the International Pierre Pluye Awards.

The International Pierre Pluye Awards were established to recognize excellence in mixed methods research and scholarship in family medicine education. The Committee remains committed to maintaining the high standards associated with these awards and to recognizing work that demonstrates outstanding scientific rigor and contribution to the field.

The 2027 edition of the International Pierre Pluye Awards will be launched in September 2026. Information regarding award categories, eligibility criteria, submission requirements, and deadlines will be posted on this website at that time.
