FMER Promotes Family Medicine Graduate Studies at McGill’s Graduate Fair
On November 4, 2026, the Family Medicine Education Research (FMER) Group participated in McGill University’s AUS x SUS Graduate and Professional Schools Fair, held at the McGill University Centre in Montréal.
Dr. Charo Rodriguez, Director of the FMER Group, helped promote McGill’s Family Medicine Graduate Programs, with particular emphasis on the Medical Education concentration of the MSc in Family Medicine.
The concentration provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct research on how family medicine is taught and learned. It combines research methods, educational theories, and practical approaches to health professions education, allowing students to explore ways to improve medical education.
The event also brought together faculty, administrative staff, and student representatives. Among those attending was Prof. Tibor Schuster, Associate Professor, Director of Family Medicine Graduate Programs, Tier 2 Canada Research Chair, and FMER researcher. Mrs. Cheryl Bethlemy, Manager of the McGill Family Medicine Graduate Programs, also participated.
The fair provided an opportunity to connect with students, discuss graduate studies, and share information about research and educational opportunities in family medicine.
