Short biography
Anish completed his MSc in Family Medicine – Medical Education Concentration in August 2019 in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University. He was supervised by Dr. Charo Rodriguez and Dr. Tibor Schuster and his MSc thesis was entitled “Usability in Blended Learning Programs within Health Professions Education: A Scoping Review.” During his MSc, Anish was awarded a Joseph Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Social Science and Humanities Council, as well as several Institute Community Travel Awards from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Anish is currently completing a PhD in Family Medicine & Primary Care in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University, supervised by Dr. Bertrand Lebouché. The focus of his PhD is on identifying and addressing barriers to HIV care and treatment through innovative models of primary care for international migrants living with HIV in Montreal. He currently holds a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship awarded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
