Dr. Pierre-Paul Tellier is a family doctor, and an expert in adolescent medicine. He developed the Mauve Clinic, which is the first to have developed specific expertise to treat racialized patients, immigrants, and from the LGBTQ2s+ community.
During his career, he developed his expertise in HPV among LGBTQ2s+ people and in the development of professional identity in family medicine. Thanks to Dr. Tellier, the Quebec health system is more aware that access to high quality health and social services is imperative for successful integration into society. This project brings together an interdisciplinary team of health care providers and peers who work as much in mental health and sexual health as in physical health.
With his passion for the care of adolescents and young adults and with his leading role in Clinique Mauve, he remains on the front line for at-risk adolescents and LGBTQ2S+ populations, which makes him a pillar for these communities in Montreal.
