Overview:
Dr. Charo Rodriguez, Director of the Family Medicine Education Research Group, served as a co-instructor for two intensive workshops held on June 29 and 30 at McGill University’s Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health.
The workshops opened the 2026 Summer Institute in Advanced Research Methodologies, which ran from June 29 to July 10. Led by Professor Belinda Nicolau and funded by the Network for Canadian Oral Health Research, the Institute welcomed 36 participants, including 12 attending in person and 24 participating online from around the world.
The Institute provided an enriching programme of advanced methodological training, international learning, and scholarly exchange. It also reflected a valuable collaboration among the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health, the FMER Group, and McGill’s Department of Family Medicine.
