The FMER has the pleasure to announce that Prof. Kathleen Rice will be appointed Research Director of the McGill Department of Family Medicine as of September 1, 2024. She will fill de role played by Dr. Alexandra de Pokomandy from 2020 to 2024, and Dr. Isabelle Vedel, is acting as interim Director from May to August.

2026 International Pierre Pluye Awards: No Award Conferred
Following a review of submissions for the 2026 International Pierre Pluye Awards, the Evaluation Committee unanimously determined that no award would be conferred this year. The 2027 competition will be launched in September 2026.
