Two FMER Members Join New Provincial Pilot Supporting Clinician-Educator-Researchers

We are pleased to share that FMER researchers Dr. Keith Todd and Dr. Ariane Courville-Le Bouyonnec have been selected as inaugural participants in a new pilot program launched by the MSSS, in partnership with the FMOQ and Quebec’s four Departments of Family Medicine.

This two-year initiative supports clinician-educator-researchers in GMF-U settings who balance clinical work, teaching, and research, often without dedicated time. The program addresses this gap by creating structured support, including academic billing codes and institutional backing, to expand research capacity across the province.

Dr. Todd and Dr. Courville-Le Bouyonnec’s selection reflects their leadership in clinical education and scholarly activity. We congratulate them and look forward to their continued scholarly contributions through this important initiative.
